KILLIAN HONEY CO

Tom Killian acquired his first hive in 2006 and began reading and learning all there was to bee husbandry.

As one hive turned into ten, his passion soon sparked an interest in the entire family.

 

Seeing the possibility of growth into a business, Frank Killian channeled his woodworking expertise into making long lasting hive boxes. With the right equipment on hand and a few thousand bees, Killian Apiaries was born.

14 years later, Tom and Frank Killian have continued to  work with California farmers and local ranches and wineries who are passionate about sustainable agriculture. The Killian family is passionate about ecologically friendly beekeeping practices. This includes frequent inspection of local forage near bee yards, accessibility to fresh water sources, and proximity to other bee yards. With these practices as a priority, millions of Killian Apiaries bees continue to thrive. The sweetest byproduct of happy, thriving bees? Pure raw honey.
